VinLink abides by the strictest VIN standards (ISO-3779 and ISO-3780) starting from 1981 to present day which allows us to support more then 500+ manufacturers which equates to more then 4,500 unique World Manufacturers Identifications (WMI), and more then 4,000 unique vehicle makes from 77 countries all over the world.
All of this equates to a whopping one billion (and counting) database of vehicles.
Supported vehicle types include: Passenger Cars, Vans, SUV's, Light Trucks, Medium Trucks, Heavy Trucks, Motorcycles, Buses, RV's, Trailers, and other vehicle types.

VinLINK Technology
Two types of interfaces are available:
- B2B ? business to business
- B2C ? business to client
Solutions reports can be accessed from VINLINK servers by simple HTTP request or using an industry standard SOAP based VinLINK Web Service. Structured XML reports allow data to be transferred efficiently into your application.
For B2C clients a simple Web based GUI is available for a single interactive report extraction. Reports can be viewed online or printed on paper. A simple Batch VIN Processing Service for multiple VIN decoding is also available allowing very efficient decoder of thousands VINs at the time.
All of the above services are controlled within single VInLINK account.
